Among the main task of the project was to develop: Quality standards for assistance services to male, domestic violence perpetrators; Guidelines for mayors in assisting cases of domestic violence ;Guidelines for Local Public Authorities on implementation of the National Plan on Gender Equality. The project was supported financially by UNFPA Moldova.

A program implemented in partnership with Soros Foundation in Moldova aimed to encourage and develop leadership among rural women to successfully participate in the Local 2011 Elections. CPD provided practical training, consulting sessions and mentoring support for 60 women, most of which participated in the elections as candidates.

A project aiming to develop capacities among local NGOs to promote gender equality, women’s participation and good governance at the community level. A total of 14 NGOs participate in the project. CPD developed a special capacity assessment to develop specific capacity gaps among the selected organizations and helped them to develop midterm capacity development plans. Along with this CPD provided training, consultancy and financial support for all NGOs to make sure that capacity development plans are implemented. The project was supported financially by the US Embassy in Moldova.

CPD worked with 3 towns in Moldova (Calarasi, Riscani and Drochia) to develop capacities for good governance and gender equality. CPD helped local authorities to develop internal procedures on good governance, trained local staff and provided support in developing transparency tools such as web pages, data bases for petitions. The project was supported financially by Balkan Trust for Democracy.

The project aim was to expand capacities of both citizens’ groups to become more active in the local decision making process (participate at the local council meetings; participate in local planning for development, consulting local budget, etc). But also develop capacities within local public authorities to become more transparent and open to citizen’s participation. The project was conducted in Causeni and Stefan Voda Towns as was supported financially by Soros Foundation Moldova.

A two year project (started in 2008) financed by the Oxfam Novib. In average 170 women from 20 communities participate in practical trainings and develop small community initiative involving 1200 community members. CPD will award 20 community projects averaging a budget up to 2000 EUROs witch will affect in a positive way 30% of the population from the selected communities.

The general objective of the project was to promote gender equality within 2010 national elections and 2011 local elections in Moldova. Among main activities was to monitor election processes from gender perspective, produce intermediary and final monitoring reports. Along with this CPD encouraged local NGOs to develop and conduct community based campaign to increase voters’ participation in elections but also awareness on the importance of gender equality in elections. All projects were supported financially by the East European Foundation in Moldova.

Institutional project, with support of Open Society Institute, New York and Soros Foundation Moldova. Total amount; 103.894 USD (2008-2009). The funds are distributed among 4 CPD's program to support activities aiming at gender eqaulity promotion and women's advancement in Moldova. Also, these funds cover all maintenance expenses of CPD and capacity building activities for CPD's team, according to the CPD personnel strategy.In 2010 CPD will be awarded for the institutional support by OSI with a total amount of 34.000 USD.

CPD is implementing this project based on the initiative of the UNIFEM project in Moldova. CPD is coordinating a group of experts who analyzed the Labor Code and developed recommendations for its improvements from gender perspective. This approach to the legal framework of Republic of Moldova is expecting to increase women's employability and also to meet national and international commitments for gender equality achievement in Moldova.

A joint project implemented in partnership with the Ukrainian Women’s Fund during witch 160 local civil servants participated at practical trainings on 3R method. All participants were encouraged to gender mainstream their activities.
